Hi, I just updated my opensuse and now, I have a black screen before the session manager. I can only connect in text mode. What can I do? I have a NVIDIA vidéo card, in case it can help, and use the proprietary driver. The last kernel that works is: 4.1.27-24 The one that does not work is: 4.1.27-27 Regards, Frédéric
Hi Frédéric,
my nVidia card is running fine with kernel 4.1.27-27. I'm using the proprietary driver as well.

Hi, I had the same problem. I solved it by trying to remove the nvidia-packages (via command-line yast), but that installed apparently new/other ones. It's running nice again. I think the new files are : nvidia-gfxG03-kmp-pv nvidia-uvm-gfxG03-kmp-pv Before they were -default in stead of -pv. No warranties though, YMMV.
