The actual name is http://http.download.nvidia.com/opensuse, so changing the name won't fix this. It appears, that the the files in the repo are still pointing to the "old" content, and not the updated content. It's sort of strange that you can actually get into this situation. The repo file in question does not exist, not only that ... it supposedly contains the new nvidia 367 which fixes the problems with kernel 4.6, which has been troubling us for some time. However, if you browse to the nvidia repository through a browser, not only does it not contain the repo xml file in question, it still contains the old 361 files. -----Ursprungligt meddelande----- Från: Karl Sinn [mailto:news@budostore.de] Skickat: den 11 juni 2016 16:38 Till: opensuse@opensuse.org Ämne: Re: [opensuse] Is the Leap Nvidia Repo broken? Hi, I have the same problem. The problem is, that the repomd.xml file links to a file with a cryptic filename that doesn't exist. And the cryptic file names that exist are not mentioned in the repomd. xml I guess during the last update of the repo the repomd.xml file didn't get updated propperly. [06-11-16 07:07]: I get the same error over weeks. I tried to check the URL, right one. I opened the URL with the browser: right one Software is there. But when I tried to erase the URL and put: ftp://download.nvidia.com/opensuse/leap/42.1/
as a new repo it fails in all cases with:
Impossible to access the installation support ftp://download.nvidia.com/opensuse/leap/42.1/ p, li { white-space: pre-wrap; }File
'./repodata/712c24d30131af68919b910fb81dd274082c9475d1460f4abc4e38d4b0821164 -primary.xml.gz'
non trovato sul supporto 'ftp://download.nvidia.com/opensuse/leap/42.1/'.
which is the Italian version. It claims: not found.
what to do? Should I file a bug report? Some weeks that this does not change. Always the same error. you might try what I understand as the proper url: http://download.nvidia.com/opensuse/leap/42.1/ which auto-changes to: http://http.download.nvidia.com/opensuse/leap/42.1/ FWIW, I just had to disable the 13.2 repo due to comparable errors.
I tried cleaning the cache and deleting and recreating the repo, using both ftp and http protocols & URIs ... no difference.
