if all the swaps are mounted, will there be a warning?
I don't understand this sentence :-?
if all the swap spaces are inserted in fstab, and one of them hold an hibernation image, what do the kernel do? ask?
Ah! I see.
I have several swap spaces in fstab.
Well, I know that it only loads the hibernation image from the one space that is listed in the "resume=" parameter. I don't know if it is possible to list more than one there :-?
No. Hibernation image is written to a single device. There is no requirement it must swap though.
I'm unsure if fstab (in the initrd image) is parsed early enough for searching hibernation images in other swap spaces, but I think not.
