I still think DokuWiki is the best. My theme is not doing because I am so bad with colours but. I will post a screenshot later.
and it's pretty easy to customize one.
Yeah but not for me. Colour-blind === troubles.
if so you must know how "pretty" web sites can be unusable for color blind people...
that said, imho, you have two incompatible objectives: be readable or be good looking... You know what I choosed.
That's just nonsense. That's a false dichotomy.
Good looking usually implies readable.
full text is readable, paints are pretty
pretty:
You call that pretty?
you did, if I understand you mail
1. Create bad contrast with the background, or make the font too small.
but pretty don't care of this
"Now make an account, you turd faced fuck face. You are too stupid to understand otherwise anyway".
many web sites, not only commercials, don't even bother to say what the product is made for... a bit like man pages do not give examples :-(
All spam gets blocked by akismet.
nope. admin action needed all the time
Yeah well I am a WordPress hacker so. The only annoyance is that the mods I make get overwritten by updates :p.
this coudn't happen with pmwiki
Becoming immune to spam is terribly easy (if you code a little).
The bots don't read HTML pages. Well maybe the regular spambots do. The spambots that create accounts do not. They just hit the default links. If you slightly modify the default links, they are out of operation.
if you read openSUSE lists you should know how badly was the opensuse wiki hit by spam very recently. Some spam is made by real people
A site like yourself, I consider unreadable. The fonts are too small.
did you notice the big view/normal view button on the upper right? here big http://dodin.info/wiki/pmwiki.php?n=Main.HomePage?setview=big&setfontsize=110 but it's too much for my own use you have also skin options (little link at the bottome of the page) http://dodin.info/wiki/pmwiki.php?n=Site.StyleOptions but may be we go a bit too OT for this opensuse list :-( initially I was thinking it was a PM :-( jdd -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
