Hello: I have openSUSE 13.1. I installed oracle jre rpm package. I use a java application which uses java GUI but the fonts are too small on my screen. I found that /usr/java/jre1.8.0_xx/lib/fontconfig.*.properties.src files define fonts used in java. I have the following properties files and don't know which one is used in my system (which one to edit): fontconfig.properties.src fontconfig.RedHat.5.properties.src fontconfig.RedHat.6.properties.src fontconfig.SuSE.10.properties.src fontconfig.SuSE.11.properties.src fontconfig.Turbo.properties.src I'd guess fontconfig.properties.src would be the one in oS 13.1 but not sure. Despite of this font definitions look like: serif.plain.latin-1=-b&h-lucidabright-medium-r-normal--*-%d-*-*-p-*-iso8859-1 According to http://docs.oracle.com/javase/8/docs/technotes/guides/intl/fontconfig.html <<"%d" is used for the font size - the actual font size is filled in at runtime.>>. Where the value of %d is set and how can I change it? Thanks, Istvan -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
