Our infrastructure team are working on the problems. There is no ETA,
they are working flat out on the problems.
Without a full picture of the details, it looks like a perfect storm
of a few technical issues nesting each other, mixed with a very
popular Tumbleweed update producing a heavy load on the compromised
systems.
Will give an update when I have more information, but meanwhile please
keep calm and carry on.

I confirm, update repository unusable.
Ditto.
I was trying to demo Linux to a new guy from the Networking, he was very enthusiastic.
He gave me a laptop to install. I put Leap on it.
1. I get graphics artefacts. Put nomodeset in boot loader. 2. Networking does not get set up properly. I start it up manually with ifconfig, route and /etc/resolv.conf. 3. Update repository does not work.
Just my opinion, for a demo, I would use 13.2. Leap still has some teething issues.
The problem with that is the %$#!! repository is sloe on ALL versions.
