Hi We're new to all this. Isn't what you are saying correct for all journalism? If it is a quote it must be cited literally? We are not sure if it is different on this mailing. Also, we understand that trimming is to be encouraged. Would we (may we, could we...not sure!) class trimming as extreme misquoting? How would one correctly tell someone that they did not want their input? Maybe this not possible on a mailing. Does being the originator of a post (you put the first message) bring with it any privileges?
