From serveral other sources I heard that Hardware should be BCM2708, Revision 0010 and there should be a valid serial number.
The same hardware with raspbian says:
Hardware : BCM2708 Revision : 0010 Serial : 00000000c2c2clcfbb
The problem is that many libs are looking into this information to determine what type of raspi they are running on. What possibilities I have to set these parameters right?
Maybe running such a picky program via a LD_PRELOAD interceptor for reading /proc/cpuinfo? Or over-mounting: $ grep i5 /proc/cpuinfo | head -n1 model name : Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4570 CPU @ 3.20GHz $ sed 's/i5-4570/i5-4579/' /proc/cpuinfo > /root/cpuinfo $ mount --bind /root/cpuinfo /proc/cpuinfo $ grep i5 /proc/cpuinfo | head -n1 model name : Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4579 CPU @ 3.20GHz $ umount /proc/cpuinfo Obviously that's a rude trick (which may have side effects).
