Hey all,
Since I have a really stable 13.1, but I want try out tumbleweed and plasma 5 I am looking for some help.
This is NOT a live dvd. I can put that on the flash drive and boot from it. What I can't do is install programs to it and have them persist. I want to install a full version so I can try and run all the programs that I need to have.
I have tried making bootable drive using rufus and and even manually, but no go. When I try and use the install disk about 100 programs won't install and it won't write the boot loader.
Just to throw a wrinkle in, I have a UEFI computer. so I want that to work as well The TW is Snapshot20150508 You can build an image with kiwi and then dump it to the stick.

That looks like it would work with a live img, but not sure how I would an insttall and then make an img to the thumbdrive. -- Quis custodiet ipsos custodes _.._ _ ."\__/"./`_\ _/__<__>__\/ jgs `"/_/""""\_\\ Adolph & Sharon Weidanz PADI MSDT/OWSI 283315 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
