I guess Reiser was kind of mad, like many genius are, I think Reiserfs 4 was never acheived (and one use the V3?) so may be the code is unmanageable. What I know is that I was a great lover of reiserfs :-) first time I demonstrated it in my Linux User Group, one of the member walking unplugged accidentally my computer and it rebooted without problem.
