BTRFS may end up being the next best thing since sliced bread, but currently it seams the loaf is not quite yet done for production environments. Still I give credit to Opensuse for integrating it into their install

Unfortunately, filing a bug report on BTRFS is sort of difficult when your system won't even boot, and you can't get your logs, or anything in the way of diagnostics.
