A series of (delta) updates via zypper this morning has fouled up an option in SCREEN EDGES on which I heavily rely on a daily basis. Until this morning, I could push the cursor into the top-left corner of the screen and all the open applications in other virtual desktops would appear - and I would select the one I wanted to work on. Using this Screen Edges facility I was able to switch quickly from one application to another. However, the patches through zypper this morning put a stop to this nice way of doing things - and it is a damn PITA. Anybody know of a way of getting this feature back - some entry in a some control file, perhaps? If you do please let me know. (The patches this morning had something to do with xorg-something-or- other but there were some others whose names I did not manage to catch.)
