Thanks, Rodney ... I was curious to know your impressions :-) I performed a nearly identical migration last May of the sole drive in my 2.0 GHz Core2Duo based laptop ... to a Samsung 840 PRO. This upgrade boosted the system's performance so dramatically that I've indefinitely postponed replacing it.
