It looks like your home. Wild guess: did you use "startx"? If you did, was your current directory that "/mnt"?

You could try "umount --lazy /mnt &". In emergencies, it works. At least, it impedes anything else opening any file in there, and they eventually have to drop the files they have; and when they do, they can not pick any new file in there.
