The "noisy" might be the real issue. Fans running close to limits, and that limit may be !FAILURE!, are noisy. Or in my case the fans become over-stressed due to an accumulation of cat hair, which was also impeding air flow and making the laptop run hot. Use an un-bent paper clop to hold the fan blade still while apply a vacuum cleaner.
