Any log messages? You can adjust the log level in /etc/sysconfig/autofs, default is none.
Hi We set it to debug.
1. The ws is booted without the fs 2. The fs is made available 3. a domain user with a ticket requests a folder:

This message comes from cifs driver when it fails to connect to CIFS server. Error number is EHOSTUNREACH - Host unreachable. IP address which is used during connection is resolved by mount.cifs from UNC path passed as argument, in this case "altea". Obvious test at this point would be to attempt manually mount after boot using the same options, i.e. mount -t cifs -n -s -o sec=krb5,username=cifsuser,multiuser //altea/users/julie /mnt Additionally, you can try to add the same command to be executed after autofs is launched, i.e. add to [Service] section in /usr/lib/systemd/system/autofs.service (onle line of course): ExecStartPost=-/usr/bin/mount -t cifs -n -o sec=krb5,username=cifsuser,multiuser //altea/users/julie /mnt This may show whether problem is in network configuration at the time mount is executed, in service environment or related to autofs. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
