Hello,
I just installed OS 13.1 today and I noticed that theres no tray icons?
The tray that lets you know whats open and currently running.
All I have is the OPEN SUSE menu, the bar that shows me what windows are open, sound, 1 work space, clock, and a user menu I guess you would call that where I can click my name and log off etc. My friend convienced me to leave ubuntu and to come to OS so sorry if I am using the wrong terminology
Thanks, Christopher
Should be there by default on a fresh install. You may have accidentally deleted it by clicking a cross on a hovering pop-up that you hadn't even had time to see.
Right-click on an empty area of the bottom panel. If Unlock Widgets is showing, click that first. Otherwise, under Panel Options, click Add Widgets..., then find the Task Manager and select it. In fact, before you select it, see if it already has a tick mark on it like other active widgets, because in that case it's already present somewhere but you may have resized it or dragged it to some far flung corner of the world without knowing.

Hi Peter, I dont see that option at all..... Here is what I see when I go to add widget..... I had to use the NET INSTALL for some reason no matter how I burnt the iso to the USB stick either DD or using the SUSEIMAGEBURNER..... I would get the ISO CHECK FAILED, YOU'VE BEEN WARNED.... But here's a screenshot: http://i886.photobucket.com/albums/ac69/CMAR606/OPEN%20SUSE%20Mail%20Group/S...
