Reading installed packages... 'kernel-devel' is already installed. No update candidate for 'kernel-devel-3.11.10-7.1.noarch'. The highest available version is already installed.
Hi I didn't do anything apart from install the 13.1 vm. The guest additions were there by default. Are you sure they aren't? e.g. View > Auto-resize guest display. Also it's really slow if they aren't. L x
That option is greyed out, as is Seamless mode. But that might be a result of my fiddling about trying to fix something that wasn't broken!
You are trying to install the additions in the "guest" machine right? They get installed _after_ the "guest" machine is installed and get installed in the guest machine. Do not install them in the host machine.
Yes, I've set up the virtual machine and installed 13.2 on it. It's been a while since I played with virtualbox, but I remember having to install the guest additions on each guest machine. Whereas Lynn says that they were there by default.
I'm tempted to to wipe the whole thing, reinstall virtualbox and then reinstall oS13.2, as I've already downloaded the 4.7GB .iso.
Ah, 13.2. So we could expect different behaviour to released versions. L x
Sorry, I'm probably not being clear. The host machine is running 13.1, the guest is 13.2. I can't be the only person testing 13.2 in a VM. - -- Bob Williams System: Linux 3.11.10-7-desktop Distro: openSUSE 13.1 (x86_64) with KDE Development Platform: 4.13.1 Uptime: 06:00am up 14:02, 4 users, load average: 0.02, 0.04, 0.05 -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.22 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Thunderbird - http://www.enigmail.net/ iEUEARECAAYFAlN2SfQACgkQ0Sr7eZJrmU5qoACYj62tX8WI/uRyRBivdm84WMt5 /QCfcQGwrkuOTLXpXNva/WrabmCLeNM= =Raaz -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
