This is why I am looking for a print server to share my USB printer the over network with capabilities for scanning and printing.
Would have helped had you mentioned it only supports USB from the get go. Thank you all for your advice
It seems after researching this very thoroughly that my USB printer is just too old to be compatible with a print server (without having to use a desktop PC). However, I have a USB over IP device from Digi (Anywhere USB/5 Gen1). Does anyone know where I may obtain driver and software for linux for this device. It works perfect with windows. Alternatively does anyone know of a USB over IP device compatible with Windows and Linux? -- Paul Groves -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
