Thanks for all your help! Sorry for making a nasty post on this mailing list, but i was truely worried with the driver stuff etc – I will use Opensuse Paste in the future ;) Ähm – Yes it is a Optimus system and in the Opensuse Forum, we started a discussion about ist. IT seems, that new Nvidia repositories should not solve the problem … Only Bumblebee seems to be a good solution, but also a bit of a procedure top install ;) I will give bumblebee a try and will let you know if it works. THe Nvidia drivers should not work, they said int the forum For more check: https://forums.opensuse.org/english/get-technical-help-here/hardware/491405-... Best and thanks for help!!! The nvidia 319.60 driver doesn't compile on linux kernel 3.11+ because of the error in the nvidia-install.log. A small patch is needed to work around it.
But you can go to ftp://download.nvidia.com/XFree86/Linux-x86_64/331.20/ and download the 331.20 driver. That works ok and installs without problems. may also require the additional parameter "--no-unified-memory"
Replace Linux-x86_64 with Linux-x86 if you're on 32bit.
