One has to wonder if the savings of tracking these dangling packages is going to be worth the effort. Will the saving in disk space be worth the time?
I must agree with you John in this regard. "Time is money" goes correct. But still I take this an example of two persons - 'A' and 'B'. 'A' likes to do each and every effort with super cleanliness whereas 'B' does only with 'that is sufficient to do the job at hand'. Now, ultimately both of them die in the end....! So the net output of both's time is what ....-- came to zero at the end. So this I would more define as "tendency" what one has. One likes to do in that manner while other wants to do in another manner and both are true in their places (every thing being relative...!). So ultimately when my all of the work was being done from Windows, I still came here to invest the efforts (may be a little) but that was my tendency to use Linux! So ultimately it matters in what context was something done.... Though I wrote much but don't take in other ways....it was all what I felt and I agree with you "Time is money" without a doubt.
