Never mind - I'm dumping ext4 for now !!!!!
Going back to reiserfs for now !!!!!
Your choice, but as you were told Reiserfs is not going anywhere.
I've been using ext4 for years and only had a hassle the one time when we had a lightning strike nearby and we lost power while data was being written to the HDD. Which is why I had to run e2fsck as I already explained.

Well ..... I trying, what I think, is the best of both worlds - running my primary /home with btrfs - and my backup with reiserfs. I wouldn't mind trying ext4 - except for the constant journal updating with jbd2 <sigh> Duaine -- Duaine Hechler Piano, Player Piano, Pump Organ - Tuning, Servicing & Rebuilding (314) 838-5587 / dahechler@att.net / www.hechlerpianoandorgan.com Home & Business user of Linux - 13 years -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
