enpXXX is PCI device. Slot based enumeration starts with ensXXX. Not every system supports it, unfortunately.

No. It is PCI bus/PCI device. Device 00:03.1 would result in enp0s3f1.
The ensXXX are supposedly for hot-plug slots, but I haven't had time to play with that yet.
