Every time I try to edit a .html file, it keep opening it with Firefox.
Although I believe I configured it - in everything - to OpenOffice.
Dolphin and KDE is configured correctly.
If I right click (I think its 'right' on a mouse, I use a touchpad so its my thumb) when a .html file is selected I get a menu that offers me an option "Open With.." and shows all I have configured. The first item is firefox but there are also Vi, kate and others. Because that's the way I've configured it. Whatever is top of the list is the default. Make sure you have that list :-) Configure it? That initial right-click menu has "Properties" Take the "general" tab and "file type options" -- How long did the whining go on when KDE2 went on KDE3? The only universal constant is change.
