fyi: yes, I'm testing with 12.3 RC1, but I have no reason to think this is a 12.3 specific bug. If it proves to be, I take this to -factory.

Upload the result of running alsa-info.sh and the result of journalctl -b to the bug report.
I just assigned your bug to the alsa expert, but he wont be able to help you if you do not provide the needed info.
