[opensuse] distorted sound in Chromium (mpeg4 and html5)

I am getting a horribly distorted sound on streams of mpeg4 and html5 video and a sound stream that I can't specify. Sound works well only with Flash in Chromium and none of these problems are happening in Firefox. What could be the cause? I am running oS 12.2 and Chromium 25.0.1362.0, and chromium-ffmpeg 26.0.1383.0 (from Packman). -- Carlos F Lange -- Recursive: Adj.
