Let me say it again, the printer is _not_ in any "supported" list.
My best guess without having a printer to test with is an incorrect port number when connected by the network cable. But then the OP stated it was seen but would not print. Perhaps it just isn't *supported*.
Ken, you've been using Linux for long enough to remember when just about everything we could attach was 'unsupported'. I've written PPDs and on one occasion a disk driver for 'unsupported' features, and many people here have reversed engineered undocumented hardware features. Unsupported doesn't mean unusable.
