Hello suse people, I am running 12.2 with kde 4.9. A couple of weeks ago I posted about the app jovie no launching as a normal user . Jovie is the kde interface for screen readers and replaces ktts. I received no replies. I then attempted to open jovie as root and received this message. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- asystreet:/ # jovie jovie(5186): KUniqueApplication: Cannot find the D-Bus session server: "Did not receive a reply. Possible causes include: the remote application did not send a reply, the message bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired, or the network connection was broken." jovie(5185): KUniqueApplication: Pipe closed unexpectedly. E=asystreet:/ # ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Since I couldn't get jovie to open I decided to install orca. The installation required changing and/or adding about 50 packagess. Upon attempting to open orca I received the following message: --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ob@Easystreet:~> orca /usr/lib64/python2.7/site-packages/gi/overrides/Gtk.py:47: RuntimeWarning: You have imported the Gtk 2.0 module. Because Gtk 2.0 was not designed for use with introspection some of the interfaces and API will fail. As such this is not supported by the pygobject development team and we encourage you to port your app to Gtk 3 or greater.
