Hello,
I am in the process of installing openSUSE 12.2 in a Test environment and I am bit confused as to what "Installation from images" stand for. Can someone elaborate what this function provides or a reference (or references) to an online documentation?
It doesn't matter to you, just that it may be faster :-) An image is a collection of files from a set of packages, already prepared for direct copy to the system being installed. It is faster than installing package by package. The main part of the system can be installed from images, not all. - -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R.
