Hi. I just tryed the the suggested solution. this is my new mod_log_config.conf
########################
SetEnvIf Remote_Addr "172\.31\.0\.192" dontlog
# # Format string: Nickname: # LogFormat "%h %l %u %t \"%r\" %>s %b" common LogFormat "%v %h %l %u %t \"%r\" %>s %b" vhost_common LogFormat "%{Referer}i -> %U" referer LogFormat "%{User-agent}i" agent LogFormat "%h %l %u %t \"%r\" %>s %b \ \"%{Referer}i\" \"%{User-Agent}i\"" combined env=!dontlog
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ this is wrong. This is what the apache startup complains about.
Logformat "%t %h %{SSL_PROTOCOL}x %{SSL_CIPHER}x \ \"%r\" %b \"%{Referer}i\" \"%{User-Agent}i\"" ssl_combined env=!dontlog
And this too presumably.
And when starting apache it still cant be started and on the log we got
Sep 5 14:18:00 apolo start_apache2[10047]: Syntax error on line 18 of /etc/apache2/mod_log_config.conf: Sep 5 14:18:00 apolo start_apache2[10047]: LogFormat takes 1-2 arguments, a log format string (see docs) and an optional format name
Your Logformat config statements are wrong. The env!=dontlog belongs on the CustomLog statement. -- Per Jessen, Zürich (18.2°C) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
