That's not Apache which is issueing an error, but subversion.
Yes. However, the subversion lists say that the reason for this is an Apache misconfiguration of the type I described. All folk who have then solved the problem did so by making sure the Apache items were not in trees that overlapped or were otherwise unclear. So, I too am trying to see what I have done wrong in Apache.
Reading the error message and your description, I'd guess that you copied (or moved) PiPlanCalc from /svn to /xsvn, and Subversion needs to be told that it has to be relocated.
The PiPlanCalc repo was created in /xsvn and was not moved. The parent directory is unchanged. It was created just as I have always created repos in /svn. I can access the repo locally via svnadmin and it is happy. I can also access it via Trac (local access). It is only the HTTP access that fails. Since the repos are remote, http access is the way they are accessed by all clients, even the command line 'svn' command. Thanks for the reply.
