Amen to that. 

To me, this whole discussion is both unfortunate and unnecessary. 
Childish, even; and if there is a point to it, it is neither the point
nor the purpose of this list. 

I wonder, too, if I'm the only one who sees a serious contradiction
between a proposal that sigs should be managed by regulation and the
founding mores of open source???
