Indeed, I am using samba 3.6.3 (and oS 11.4).
And I learned in the bug report how to stop AppArmor:
service boot.apparmor stop
I did that and restarted CUPS (rccups restart), but the problem persists.
Perhaps you have to restart samba as well.
Time to file another bug report, you think?
