Just use YaST.
- Go to YaST > Software Management - Under View, select Patterns - Select Gnome Desktop Environment and Gnome Base
Log out of KDE... select Gnome from the session menu on the login screen... enter your user credentials.
It may be a good idea to disable auto-login if you are using it.. allows you to choose then on each boot.
Don't forget the documentation http://en.opensuse.org/GNOME and http://en.opensuse.org/Portal:GNOME and http://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:GNOME_3_Guide
PS, you can do the same coming from Gnome3 to install KDE4.
