Not the KDE4 that I'm running (4.6.5) - I had the option of upgrading to Kmail2 (and I did try it on a laptop) but I had to install extra repositories to get it. I'm still (happily) running 1.13.7 and afaik it is still available via zypper. KMail2 is basically a vacuum cleaner (i.e. it sucks) but it will get better.
