I am new to KDE, still exploring all the features. What did you mean by 
top line of the kicker menu. Where is Kicker menu?

Was reading Wiki[1] and it said "Although ported to Qt4, Kicker had been 
dropped from KDE4 at the alpha stage and replaced with Plasma Desktop's 
panel.
