for d in $(rpm -q --requires ardour); do rpm -q --provides $d; done
a simple zypper verify might also tell you which dependencies are not satisfied on your system; if possible, it will try to 'adjust' your system to become consistent (in your case it might try to remove ardour).
Very likely you're hit by the fact that multimedai:apps depends heavily on multimedia:libs => if you got ardour from multimedia:apps, make sure to also enable multimedia:libs repository; then try installing (or zypper verify) again).
