It should work but in practice there are so many bugs and inconsistencies that I wouldn't use it.
Like what bugs and inconsistences that haven't been fixed for example ?
I guess you know bugzilla's search button? There are even more bugs discussed on the lists only.
Just did, even took a quick look, bugs that are critical in systemd itself have been fixed, the others are :
- Cosmetic issues
- Bugs in networking scripts/ifup
- Bugs in KDE
You may think that things like "systemd does not start postfix" or "domainname not set - NIS failing with systemd" or "shuts down network for no reason" are just cosmetic. For me they are reason enough to not use it. cu, Rudi -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
