it's only one's experience...

don't forget there are at least 3 fat version (12, 16 & 32)

I had sometime problems, specially mixing card from different cameras. 
It's so easy to format with the camera that have to use it, why search 
for problems?

software is never completely reliable. Too many devices with each his 
own one and his bugs
