[opensuse] KMail2, moving and copying broken

Since some time now I have problems with copying and moving of emails. In one
case I wanted to return an email which slipped through the filter from a sub-
folder into the inbox. It was moved but not into the inbox but under the
"KMail
Folder" which is the main header for the folders. Just now I wanted to copy an
email from the sent-mail folder into the inbox with the same end-result. Emails
which are landing int this "KMail Folder" can be read but not deleted moved or
mishandled in any other form.
This "KMail Folder" header is a non existent part of the kmail2 contents and a
removal with force with midnight commander is not possible. The emails do not
pose a problem. It is the handling of moving and copying of emails back to the
inbox which is problematic.
Anybody who can replicate this behavior?
