as well as the previous complaint
i have tried zypper rm firefox which went away and deleted firefox then zypper in firefox which installed MozillaFirefox-6.99-3.1.x86_64.rpm plus support packages 3 in all the same 3 it removed i am now stuck with no working borwser need to get back to this mornings status
I'd first zypper in MozillaFirefox-6.0-2.1, then remove XUL.mfasl and XPC.mfasl from your Firefox profile directory, then try again. Deleting *.mfasl is always the first thing I try if any Mozilla won't start after updating anything. Those files are there solely to speed startup, but subject to corruption resulting from version changes.
