I do not have that item in the context menu either – yet in the Message menu
(SHIFT+CTRL+N). So probably it was just removed because it is a "message
action" and not a "folder action".

When trying to post an email to this mailing list via kmail2
"Message/Mailing List/Post new message" kmail2 launches my browser to
compose/send the email instead of kmail2? Does anyone know if this is a
config option?
It works here.

Right clicking on the mailing list folder doesn't give you a "post to
mailing list" option like kmail1.
