Is there anything left that depends on it now? For 11.4 that is? will it be gone in 12.0?
The next version will be 12.1 and hal is already dropped from Factory (the development tree).
Ciao, Marcus
Thank you.
Can I delete it from my 11.4?
Well, you can try. "zypper rm hal" and you will see what other packages will get deinstalled. It probably has some dependencies you want to keep. It does not hurt leaving it on the system on the other hand.
And Marcus, please DO NOT reply to BOTH me and the list; I don't need TWO copies of your reply :-)
It is a reflex to always do group reply. removed from this one. Ciao, Marcus -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
