I recently upgraded to OpenSuse 11.4. I use KMail, and store my SMTP password using KWallet. But for some reason Kmail is having problems. When I start the system up, kwallet opens immediately, because I use it for my wireless password as well. This does not have any problems: the wallet opens, the I get the wireless connection, and it all works. The wallet configuration shows that KMail is always allowed access. But when I start KMail and try to use it to send email, it immediately pops up a dialog box asking for my SMTP password. I type it in, and click the option "store password". Kmail responds that KWallet is not available, and would I like to store it in plain text file? Then KWallet pops up a notification saying "There have been repeated failed attempts to gain access to a wallet. An application may be misbehaving." I tried going into KWalletManager and deleting all fields related to kmail, then saving the password from scratch. It did not help. Anyone experienced something like that?
