"no longer"? That's a bit overstated, Felix. The OP's complaint was
long on hyperbole and short on details. I read "non-bootable" and
responded accordingly. What I left out was the obvious need, once
booted into Linux, to reinstall the bootloader so it picks up and
write a proper entry for the Windows installation.
