If you care about page presentation, you should be storing page images
such as PDF rather than .odt, IMHO. :-P

Oh, and has anybody else confirmed this bug is not just some peculiarity
of your system configuration? I know it probably isn't but it would be
nice to eliminate the possibility.
Does anybody have any idea what is causing the difference in
kerning/leading/spacing --and-- more importantly what I could use as a
temporary work-around until the bug is resolved.
If you care about page presentation, you should be storing page images
such as PDF rather than .odt, IMHO. :-P
