I guess.
By the way, I'm attempting to install your rpm. Shouldn't it conflict
"cdrkit-cdrtools-compat"? I had to manually remove it.
At least he is correct in that his software does produce a sensible error
message:
...
Trying to clear drive status.
Blocks total: 2295104 Blocks current: 2295104 Blocks remaining: -24706
cdrecord: Data does not fit on current disk.
Now I'm burning an image of 11.3, to see how it behaves:
cer@Telcontar:~/Download/Firefox_downloads> cdrecord -eject -v dev=/dev/dvd
/data/storage_b/cer_big/isos_11.3/openSUSE-DVD-Build0577-x86_64.iso
cdrecord: No write mode specified.
cdrecord: Assuming -sao mode.
cdrecord: If your drive does not accept -sao, try -tao.
cdrecord: Future versions of cdrecord may have different drive dependent
defaults.

I wonder why it is using track number two? :-?
Anyway, it is mountable.
Thanks for packaging the tool - and a shame he says what he says of you.

I never use home repos. I'd try if it were in a normal repo maintained byIt's located in Base:System/cdrtools which unfortunately only has
Novell people. Home repos are private playgrounds, not for use unless told
by the maintainer (and I trust him/her)
factory repos but I linked to it in my home:plater project and it builds
for 11.2, I'm still on 11.3, just needed to link to smake (Schilly's own
rendition of make, as if we needed another one)
:-)
It would be available for all to use if it's author wasn't so pig headed
about granting permission for re-licensing.
I guess.
