Hi,
I downloaded openSUSE 11.4 Milestone 6 DVD and tried to burn it to a
DVD+R and a DVD+RW with several different tools (K3b, CD Burner XP,
growisofs, etc.) without success.
The bottom line is that it seems that the image is too big for the disk.
The image openSUSE-DVD-Build1034-x86_64.iso is reported to be 4750970880
Bytes.
dvd+rw-mediainfo /dev/sr0 reports READ CAPACITY: 2295104*2048=4700372992
So the image is 50,597,888 bytes bigger than the DVD.
Is this expected? Can't openSUSE be burned on a DVD+RW or DVD+R? Does it
require a dual-layer disk? Or am I just missing something obvious?
Thanks,
/~jc
