I'm thinking about upgrading amachine from 11.2 to 11.3 using zypper
dup. It'll be the first time I've attempted an upgrade this way.

I've found http://en.opensuse.org/SDB:System_upgrade which seems pretty
good. There's one question I have which it doesn't answer directly,
which is how to upgrade the restricted multimedia stuff. The wiki page
suggests that one would enable both the packman and libdvdcss
repositories before running zypper ref & zypper dup (since it suggests
enabling third-party repositories) but does that work or is there a
better way?

Any other hints also gratefully received.
