[opensuse] mcelog warning
- From: Dave Howorth <dhoworth@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>

I'm getting output from the hourly system cron job:
running hourly cronjob scripts
SCRIPT: mcelog exited with RETURNCODE = 1.
SCRIPT: output (stdout && stderr) follows
mcelog: warning: record length longer than expected. Consider update.
read: No such device
SCRIPT: mcelog
------- END OF OUTPUT
I didn't know mcelog even existed until I saw these messages so I'm
interested to learn what they mean and what I need to do to get them to
go away.
The system is a vanilla 64-bit 11.2 except it is currently running the
2.6.37 kernel from the Kernel:/HEAD/11.2 repository.
Thanks for any help, Dave
